The Gambling Awareness Trust (GAT) is an independent not-for-profit organisation established in 2019, managed by a voluntary board of directors to fund treatment and rehabilitation, research, education and raise awareness around problem gambling to minimise gambling harm in Ireland. Our vision is that fewer people in Ireland experience gambling-related harms and that those who do, can easily access relevant professional treatment and services. GAT is the only organisation in Ireland whose sole focus is responding to the needs of those experiencing gambling harms and gambling addiction.
